EB-2-NIW

Labor Certification Waiver for Qualified Professionals

The EB-2 NIW is a subcategory of the EB-2 visa, created to benefit highly qualified professionals or those with postgraduate degrees who carry out work of national interest in the United States. The National Interest Waiver (NIW) eliminates the need for an employer or job offer, facilitating the process for those who can prove that their work brings significant benefits to the country.

The relevance of the EB-2 NIW lies in the concept of "national interest," which encompasses projects or activities in high-priority areas such as technology, health, the environment, and security. Candidates with a history of significant achievements and the potential for positive impact are best suited for this category.
