EB-1

Highly Skilled Workers

The EB-1 is an immigration visa aimed at globally distinguished professionals who have made exceptional contributions in their fields of expertise. It is one of the fastest options for obtaining a Green Card, designed for individuals who demonstrate excellence in skills, teaching, research, or business management.

The EB-1 category is divided into three subgroups: extraordinary ability (EB-1A), outstanding researchers and professors (EB-1B), and executives or managers of multinational companies (EB-1C). This visa recognizes the positive impact these individuals can have on society and the U.S. economy.

Requirements for Each Subgroup

EB-1A (Extraordinary Ability):

Demonstrate international recognition with evidence from at least 3 of the 10 areas recognized by USCIS. • Does not require a job offer.

EB-1B (Researchers and Professors):

Prove at least 3 years of experience in teaching or research. • Requires a job offer from an academic institution or research organization.

EB-1C (Executives and Managers):

Demonstrate that you held a managerial or executive position outside the U.S. for at least 1 year within the last 3 years. • Requires a transfer to a similar position in a U.S. branch or subsidiary.
